Abstract
A number of new applications of quantitative occupational information are being explored experimentally to improve various aspects of military manpower, personnel, and training systems. These applications range from econometric estimation of production in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) work to assessing work ethic to new data collection procedures via the Internet. This symposium includes six presentations highlighting some of these innovations, and the discussant will evaluate the potential value of these technologies in the operational Air Force and other military services.Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Production Function Estimation
