In addition to his excellent technical skills, Dr. Dunson's prior experience as a Senior Level Government employee makes him acutely aware of the types of management issues that arise and the need for quick answers.
President / Chief Operating Officer / Senior Scientist: In this capacity Dr. Dunson oversees the entire operations of Metrica, Inc. This involves the operational unit of the organization, and the financial and contracting units. Moreover, as a senior scientist, Dr. Dunson, is actively involved in managing and working on research projects. Dr. Dunson served as the project director and lead senior scientist/econometrician on a project with the Department of Labor evaluating the counter-cyclical effectiveness of the Unemployment Insurance Program. Dr. Dunson served as the chief economist on a project for the Air Force, measuring the benefits at Manpower Personnel, and Training (MPT) research and development.
Adjunct Associate Professor: In this capacity Dr. Dunson is involved in a university-based research project examining the topic of minority student retention.
Economics Professor: Dr. Dunson, in his capacity as a former economics professor and Department Head, lectured and undertook research in the areas of labor economics, econometric, and micro-economic theory. Dr. Dunson has published some of his research findings in the area of pay, performance and productivity.
Consultant - Federal Trade Commission: Dr. Dunson was involved in investigating credit discrimination cases.
Senior Labor Economist - Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense: Dr. Dunson was involved with research into sex and race discrimination in the Department of Defense's civilian labor force.
Program Associate - National Science Foundation: Dr. Dunson worked on a research project examining the determinants of career choice.
Senior Economist - Council on Wage and Price Stability: Dr. Dunson headed a project examining the distributional aspects of inflation.
Consultant - National Bureau of Economic Research: Dr. Dunson was involved in research into causes of black youth unemployment.
Senior Analyst - Abt Associates: Dr. Dunson worked
on a project examining impacts of a housing allowance on consumer demand.
